Benchmade Heckler & Koch Nitrous Blitz

The first HK brand knife we have chosen to offer is the Nitrous Blitz, which is also first in the HK line to incorporate Benchmade's new assist opening mechanism. Nitrous assist-opening mechanism uses the inner-liner to boost the blade open. As the blade is closed, the two torsion arms, which run the length of the handle liners, are secured in place and make contact with the blade tang. The user rotates the blade open to a 30-degree angle, and then the torsion bars take over and push the blade into the open position.
