Old Model Revived

In November 1990, we introduced the A. G. Russell™ Sailor's Knife, produced for us in Japan. We chose Rucarta™ for the handle scales and AUS-8 stainless for the blade steel to create a knife that will withstand either fresh or salt water. This is not my design, but my revision of an old one. I added serrations for cutting rope and an oval eye in the blade to make it easier to open with wet or cold hands. The marlin spike locks open. The large shackle also acts as the lock release. The blade is AUS-8 at 57-59 Rc. The 3-1/8" marlin spike is stainless. Measures 4-1/4" closed and weighs 4.8 oz. Made in Japan
