Böker Double Tree Trapper

Ernst Felix, owner of Böker® says that the tree as Böker's trademark is as old as the company - 138 years. A real chestnut tree growing close to the plant gave Heinrich Böker the idea to choose this symbol for quality. In the company's first year, they were already shipping to Africa and South America where few could read the company's name. "Today, the Tree Logo is worth more than our new plant. It guarantees that your knife is an original Böker®. In today's competitive environment, ideas, designs, and technical concepts are routinely stolen. The Tree Brand is Böker's alone and is protected as the treasure it is."

The Double Tree mark is Böker's way of telling us that, now that they are Germany's top knife firm, they are moving quality even higher. This new line of limited run knives will be made in three handle materials: Bone, Stag and Mother-of-Pearl. There will also be six handle patterns: Trapper, Whittler, Copperhead, Congress, Stockman and Copperliner. All will have fancy nickel silver bolsters cast in the old way, brass liners, stainless blades and springs, and each will come in a soft cloth "collector's" pouch. A total of one thousand of all handle materials of each model will be made.

The Trapper is the first to be offered and will be limited to 500 in Grand Canyon Bone, 300 in Stag and 200 in Mother-of-Pearl. The 3-1/4" clip and spey blades are mirror polished Solingen Stainless at 55-57 Rc. Measures 4" closed and weighs 4.4 oz. Suggested retails range from $159.00 to $199.00.
