CRKT Carson M16 Titanium

Kit Carson, designer of the M16 Series, became famous for his custom titanium frame M16s. True to Kit's custom design in all details, the production M16T models have been taken a step further with the addition of the patented Lake And Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS), which converts them into virtual fixed blades when engaged. The handles, which form the open-build frame, are CNC machined from 6AL4V titanium. The result is a better strength-to-weight ratio than steel or aluminum, and an almost indestructible frame. The frame is ceramic bead blast finished to enhance grip.

CRKT Hammond Cascade Lockback

CRKT has translated Jim Hammond's custom design into possibly the most comfortable, useful and affordable lockback possible. The 3-1/2" blade is a Hammond modified clip point, hollow ground from AUS-6M stainless steel at 55-57 Rc. with a bead blast finish. For maximum comfort, safety and hold, the handle consists of a rigid, injection molded high-impact polycarbonate frame with a soft, comfortable diamond patterned injection molded Kraton grip.

This special Iraqi Freedom Desert Cruiser, designed by Jim Hammond, has a 5-1/4" desert tan Zytel® handle with a surface that CRKT copied from the late Rob Simonich, with permission. Two clips are provided so you can choose which of the 4 hard points to use for hanging your knife on pocket or gear, just as you want. The 3-3/4" blade of AUS-8 at 57-59 Rc. is coated with desert tan Titanium Nitride and marked "Operation Iraqi Freedom".

CRKT Lake Signature

This knife is Ron Lake's first knife designed around the liner-lock which was invented by his friend Michael Walker. This knife uses Ron's InterFrame patent, putting inlays into the solid metal of each side of the knife. CRKT Kasper Tactical Folders

Greg explains the blade: "It is a refined Tanto shape with a custom-style hollow grind, slight belly and recurve and a hint of a drop point. I call it a 'Millennium Tanto.' The false edge on the spine improves penetration while maintaining strength." CRKT M16 Law Enforcement and Military Series

Gary Paul Johnson knows what it's like to put your life on the line daily. He did it as a commander with the Shaker Heights Police Department, and tell the story of the creation of his 1* logo this way: "Back in 1986, my SWAT unit was fortunate during actual raids, but we seemed to average at least one minor injury per practice session. Other teams had similar problems, especially during SWAT competitions, so I decided to create something to remind everyone to be more careful. The idea for the 1* logo came from a joke I heard as a kid." The design of the logo is in a shield shape similar to the U.S. Army's Big Red 1. Gary has granted CRK&T the exclusive right to use his "1*" logo on special models of its knives.
