CRKT Hammond Cascade Lockback

CRKT has translated Jim Hammond's custom design into possibly the most comfortable, useful and affordable lockback possible. The 3-1/2" blade is a Hammond modified clip point, hollow ground from AUS-6M stainless steel at 55-57 Rc. with a bead blast finish. For maximum comfort, safety and hold, the handle consists of a rigid, injection molded high-impact polycarbonate frame with a soft, comfortable diamond patterned injection molded Kraton grip. With the rounded lines, deep finger choil with guard, strong butt pommel and blade thumb ramp with friction grooves, CRKT has created one of the most secure and comfortable grips in any folder. Dual thumb studs allow fast either-hand opening.

The lockback mechanism is positioned mid-way along the spine, at a point difficult to accidentally release. When the lock bar is released with the blade up, the blade swings down 90 degrees and stops, reducing accidental cuts. You can then shift the Cascade to your palm and press the blade closed. A custom, removable stainless steel pocket/gear clip allows secure carry in pocket, on webbing, and on tool aprons. For those who prefer a traditional belt carry, a Cordura® scabbard is included. Measures 5-1/8" closed and weighs 4.7 oz. Made in Taiwan.
