Handmade knifemaker Kit Carson designed the M16 for CRKT and these knives have been a great success. Kit designed the M16 for function, get one in your hand and learn what he had in mind. These are knives that can be used with or without gloves. At the end of 1999 these knives were introduced with Zytel® handles and AUS-8 blade steel, which has allowed a lower price point. Many of you have expressed a real interest in a smaller knife with this feature. CRKT has listened and added the flipper to the smaller version of the tanto blade and to the spear point blades. The limited access stainless steel locking liner creates positive locking. CRKT has also included their patented AutoLAWKS®, which converts the knife into a virtual fixed blade upon opening. Measures 4-1/4" closed. Made in Taiwan.
