Kit Carson has designed the M16 for function. Handle one and you will immediately know what that means. Notice the wide blade design for difficult tasks, the sure-grip contoured handle of 6061T6 Hard Anodized Aluminum, for a comfortable grip with or without work gloves and the Stainless Steel locking liner with friction grooves, for positive locking with limited access for superior safety. The blades are made of AUS-8 stainless at 56-58 Rc. and are completed with a non-reflective bead blasted finish. The M-16 is a full size utility knife which features the "Carson Flipper" extension to the blade to speed opening and act as an additional blade guard. CRKT has also included their patented AutoLAWKS®, which converts the knife to a virtual fixed blade upon opening. Measures 5-1/3" closed with a 3-7/8" tanto blade. Suggested retail is $79.95. CRKT M16 Slim Profile Spear Point with Zytel® Handle - Plain Edge

The M-16 has been made in three sizes with the original Aircraft Alloy handles for several months. CRKT has taken the two smaller models, the sabre ground drop point blade and the smaller version of the tanto blade and produced each with Zytel® handles. The knives have clips to hold them at the top of the pocket or on the belt, thumb studs for right or left hand operation, and the Walker lock. Suggested retail $56.99.
