There are currently at least eleven Mike Snody collaborations in Benchmade's line of knives. The Gravitator seems to stand out from the rest. The lines are very different. The extreme Modified Wharncliffe blade combined with a handle that has its width at the pivot and then tapers to almost nothing at the butt, creates a striking knife.

The 3-1/2" Modified Wharncliffe blade is 154-CM stainless steel at 58-60 Rc. with a bead blast finish, ambidextrous thumbstuds and friction grooves on the spine of the blade for enhanced grip. The handle of black G-10 scales with silver G-10 bolsters has double thick 6AL 4V titanium liners and a removable steel carry clip. Measures 8-1/3" closed and weighs 4.5 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Same as the knife with bright blades (below), but with BK1(BenchKote) coating, a proprietary poly-ceramic coating that has a matte black, non-glare finish, for corrosion resistance and durability. Suggested retail is $180.00
