Designed to serve our troops during World War II, the Ka-Bar is still doing its job with honors, more than 50 years later. During World War II, combat knives were made by many American knife manufacturers, but Ka-Bar's reputation was so strong that this style knife became known as a "Ka-Bar" no matter who manufactured it.
They are still manufacturing the same knife. The 7" Bowie style blade is 1095 carbon steel at 56-58 Rc. with a epoxy powder coating for corrosion resistance and to cut the reflection. It features the same stacked leather handle and steel butt and guard. Measures 11-7/8" from blade tip to butt and weighs about 10 oz. Includes the glass filled Nylon sheath. Made in the U.S.A.
