The PaulŽ Prankster is another design from Paul Poehlmann and should be of great interest to those who prefer a tactical style knife with a little more elegance. This is the first PaulŽ with a pocket clip. The 3-1/4" plain edge blade is 154CM at 59-60 Rc., large enough for any cutting task yet compact enough for comfortable carry. The lock is the "One Hand" friendly AxialŽ Lock that Paul invented over 20 years ago and on which most of his knife designs are based. The PaulŽ AxialŽ Lock was produced by Gerber Legendary Blades in the 1970s and then again in 1995-96. The precision fit of the lock makes the knife difficult to make in a production operation and Gerber gave it up. In 2002, the PaulŽ AxialŽ lock played a large part in Jim Wehrs', founding of Lone Wolf Knives. Jim was president of Gerber Legendary Blades in 1995 when they resurrected the PaulŽ knife and had dealt with the production issues. In a small assembly shop and with today's methods of precision cutting and grinding, Jim figured he could overcome the problems. Five years of production of PaulŽ folders has proven him right. The Lone Wolf knives function extremely well and there is no indication Jim will give up on the design because of production problems. Handle material is out of AAA grade, highly figured Cocobolo handles or G10 scales

Measures 4-1/8" closed and weighs 3.3 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
