Outdoor Edge® Swing Blade™

David Bloch, owner and founder of Outdoor Edge, has taken the gut hook concept and improved it. Instead of a hook design with a sharp point, the gutting blade has a blunted end with a sharp blade that curves inward. This allows you to open game like a zipper, eliminating the chance of cutting internal organs. With a push on the lock button located next to the pivot screw, the blade rotates from a drop point hunter blade to an innovative gutting blade. The blades are hand finished AUS-8 stainless steel at 57-58 Rc. measuring 3-5/8" for the drop point and 3-3/16" for the gutting blade. A rubberized Kraton® handle ensures positive grip in extreme conditions. A black nylon belt sheath is included. Measures 8-1/4" overall and weighs 4.7 oz. Made in China.
