In the 4th quarter of 2005, SOG® began replacing their Desert Dagger® with the Daggert which was available in two sizes with SOG's TiNi coating. They are now available with bead blast finish also.

Both knives have dagger style blades of bead blasted AUS-8 at 57-58 Rc, with the upper side of the blade a combination edge and the lower all plain edge. The handles are deeply checkered Kraton® with black and grey washers and stainless steel hilts and butts. Both are weighted and balanced for perfect control. The sheaths are Kydex®. Made in Taiwan.
