Screwdriver handles play an important role in the quality of the tool. Effort, fatigue and increased pressure on the hand and arm are all greatly influenced by the handle. The shape of the Kraftform® handle is related to the human hand in a way that allows the greatest possible surface contact with the palm of the hand, and alternated hard and soft zones allows a better and easier grip. The handle is composed of three distinct components; the center consists of recycled material, which is molded around the blade then a hard coat of low friction Weralit-II material is added leaving gaps for the soft zones. The final step is to fill the gaps with soft plastics. The advantages are good grip, high resistance to heat, high resistance to oils and acids, as well as light weight.
The 900 Series chiseldriver is the tool to have for tough jobs. The specially heat-treated steel blade, impact cap, hexagonal "pound-through" blade, and hexagon steel bolster for extra leverage, makes this a perfect combination between a Chisel and a
Screwdriver.
