The Presto, from the remarkable mind of Paul Poehlmann and Lone Wolf Knives, is probably the most popular of all of Paul's renditions of his "Axial Lock".

The Paul® Prankster is another design from Paul Poehlmann and should be of great interest to those who prefer a tactical style knife with a little more elegance. This is the first Paul® with a pocket clip.

The Paul® Executive is a Paul Poehlmann design that Lonewolf introduced at the S.H.O.T. Show at the end of January, 2008, with a first production run of 400 pieces with Marble Cocobolo handle scales. It was marked on the reverse side of the blade "First Production - 2008". It has become a standard part of the Lone Wolf line.

David Yellowhorse has enhanced Lone Wolf's Paul® Presto by adding his unique Native American designs to create the "Long Journey Home" folder. Channel inlays of sterling silver, jet-stone, bloody jasper and fire opal are beautifully fit and polished to a high luster. A silver inlay depicts a Native American Warrior returning home from battle. The handle frame is stippled by hand to a deep textured non-glare finish.

The Harsey T1 folder is built with the toughness of the original Harsey Tactical knife but sized just right for everyday carry in your pocket. It features ambidextrous one handed opening and closing, a stainless steel pocket clip and locking liner for safety.

This has to be the most needle pointed Wharncliffe blade ever! The slim design is perfect for the lady's purse or the gent's dress pocket. If smaller and lighter are your watchwords, this is your knife. The word minimal comes to mind.

This limited edition Paul® Perfecto features Red Abalone handle scales and gold plated accents. The natural red abalone shell is hand cut, fit to each knife and then highly polished to bring out the natural character in this rare and exotic material. The stainless steel blade is precision ground, heat treated, tempered, cryogenically frozen and soaked to bring out the maximum performance.

The Presto is a Paul® design that was introduced by Lone Wolf in January 2006. While the look changed, it retained all the key Paul® Knife features owners and collectors love.

Lone Wolf Knives introduced the Paul® Executive, the newest knife design from Paul Poehlmann, at the 2008 S.H.O.T. Show with a first production run of 400 pieces with Marbled Cocobolo handle scales. It, along with a 3-D Carbon Fiber handled version, has become a standard part of the Lone Wolf line.

In my opinion, the Executive is the perfect Paul Poehlmann design. When given the opportunity to offer a short production run with Black Lip Pearl to our customers, we immediately said yes. The Black Lip Pearl against the simple stainless frame and blade creates an elegant, unobtrusive knife.

What a striking knife! Lone Wolf Knives has selected exhibition grade white Mother-of-Pearl for the handle scales and then set that off with an inlay of Fiery Red Opal set in a pattern of thin nickel silver strips.

Gold-lip Pearl makes exquisite handle material for small gentleman's folders like the Paul® Presto. The color of the pearl chosen by Lone Wolf for this limited group of knives has a lot of gold color filled with iridescence tending to green and pink.

The Gold-Lip Pearl Oyster is being cultured for white pearls in Australia, and recently in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia and the Phillipines. The shell makes exquisite handle material for small gentleman's folders like the Paul® Presto. The color of the pearl Lone Wolf has put on these one hundred knives is a deep rich gold, some of the most highly figured and striking I have seen.

Apple Coral has long been used in jewelry and has recently become very popular for knife handles, mostly on high-end folders. The beautiful red orange color is not reproducible in a man-made material and natural materials with a similiar color are seldom available in sizes large enough to make a full handle scale. If you like the way Apple Coral looks on a folder, you might want to obtain one in the near future.

The Harsey T-2 Ranger Tactical Knife is a perfect size for your pocket and tuff enough for anything. The 4" drop point blade is CPM-S30V high carbon stainless steel that is precision heat treated, tempered and sub-zero quenched to 59-61 Rc. to achieve maximum edge retention, flexibility and corrosion resistance.

Thirty years ago, Paul Poehlmann developed the Axial locking knife, since called the "Paul®" knife. In the 1970s Gerber produced the knife and I sold thousands. Those $40 knives are now selling for $200 and more. Gerber ended production in 1986.
