M3 Trench Knife Letter Opener
The M3 was introduced into the U. S. Army at the beginning of 1943 and was intended for issue to any soldier not equipped with a bayonet. During WWII, over 2.5 million were produced by nine American manufacturers.

Mark 2 Letter Opener
One of the most recognized general issue knives of WWII, the USMC Fighting Knife, is not only still in use today it has also become a symbol of the Marines who carry it. It was first issued in early 1943 and has been the standard fighting knife of the Marine Corps for over 50 years.
