Mcusta® has built a reputation for high quality, precision production of very beautiful knives, but their newest Koi Fish folder takes the intrincy to a much higher level. The company has been built on limited production of folding knives making use of the latest in technology to produce unbelievable detail cut either into beautiful cocobolo or stainless handle scales.

The latest we have to offer takes advantage of that precision to an extreme. The solid stainless handle has been machined to create a "picture frame" for an image of Koi swimming in a pond. Mcusta has worked with a maker of handmade guitars to created the inlay of abalone and mother-of-pearl in a thin strip of cocobolo to create the illusion of a Koi pond.

The 2-3/4" drop point blade is 32 layer Stainless Damascus with a VG-10 core at 58-60 Rc. Measures 3-5/8" closed and weighs 2.7 oz. Each knife will be serial numbered (sorry, no choice of serial number) and stamped with the red Mcusta insignia (Rakuin). Made in Japan.
