Mica Pearl, a unique resin based handle material, was developed to be an alternative to Celluloid. It is 100% stable, it will not burn or change color with age. Each color is developed in an atmospherically controlled environment, poured and controlled so each handle scale pattern is unique with a blend of black, gold and white. This is the third in our series of Canal Street knives using the White Buffalo pattern. The first was a Doctor's knife in 2007 and in 2008 we offered a Muskrat. Each was limited to 100 pieces and sold out in a matter of days.

For our third offering, we have chosen Canal Street's Half Moon Pie Trapper. The Half Moon Pie Trapper is created when the long spey blade is left out of their Moon Pie Trapper. The result is an elegant single blade slip joint folder with a 3-3/8" long clip blade of 14-4 CrMo stainless at 58-60 Rc., nickel silver long bolsters and caps, stainless liners and brass pins and CS round shield. Each knife is serial numbered on the bolster (sorry, no choice of serial number). Weighs 2.2 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
