Every traveler using an automobile, Jeep, SUV or any other vehicle should carry this kit when on the road. We carry one in each vehicle. When driving to the Guild Show in 1997, I saw a couple somersault a big Mercury at 65 mph. When I pulled up to help, they had landed facing the opposite direction from which they were traveling, but right-side up. It took the third vehicle to stop before any of us had tools to help make those people safe. In that situation alone, two of the items in this case would have been very helpful. The shovel would have been very useful to clear dirt from the driver's door to allow him to be removed from the vehicle, and the pliers would have worked to disconnect the battery cable.
