Released in 2007, The Bowie is a reproduction of a knife offered by KA-BAR over 30 years ago and is a great addition to the classically styled line of stacked leather handled fixed blades.  The blade measuring 6-7/8" and measures 1-1/4" at its widest point is the largest in this line.  It is made from tough DIN 1.4116 stainless steel at 55-57 Rc.  Finger grips on the stacked leather handle ensure a firm grip.  Brass guard, solid aluminum butt cap, and red/white/black spacers makes this a very good-looking knife. Measures 11-3/4" overall and weighs 10.2 oz.  Leather sheath included.  Knife made in Taiwan, sheath made in Mexico.  Suggested retail $61.70.
