SOG® Specialty Knives has a reputation for building knives for hard use and for supplying knives to the elite military forces. The SOG® Agency is a re-creation of a classic knife originally created for CIA operatives in the early days of the Vietnam War. This knife was designed for clandestine and counter insurgency teams who lived in the jungle for months at a time. Keeping the original design of flowing lines of blade and handle, SOG has improved the construction and quality with modern materials, including epoxy filled leather washers. The 7-1/2" blade is made from tough AUS-8 stainless steel at 57-58 Rc., and is available in either a fine satin finish or black TiNi coating. Measures 12-1/2" overall and weighs 10.0 oz. Includes a black leather sheath with sharpening stone in its own snapped pocket on the front of the sheath. The first 1,000 of each variation are serial numbered. (Sorry, no choice of serial number.) Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail for the satin finished blade is $200.00 and $235.00 for the TiNi Coated blade.
