SOG's first folding knife was the Tomcat, and set the standard for the large format lockback. It also won the Blade® Show Overall Knife of the Year® award in 1988. Like the modern day tank, today's Tomcat 3.0 is a hand-filling folder that weighs in at a hefty 6.5 oz. The clip point blade measures a full 5/32" thick and 3-3/4" long of tough VG-10 stainless steel at 59-61 Rc. Bolsters and liners are stainless steel and the handles are carbon fiber. Measures 4-3/4" closed. Made in Japan. Suggested retail $370.00.
