A.G. Russell Knives

Bo Randall made his first knife in the late 1930s, and by World War II, Randall Knives were the best known handmade knives in the world.  That level of recognition has not diminished in the sixty some years since. Gary Randall, the present owner, took over from his father, W. D. "Bo" Randall, in the mid 1970's and the shop remains so busy that it often takes over 4 years to get a knife directly from them. We are one of the few authorized Randall dealers, and try to keep a stock of their knives.

(10-21-09) Due to Randall's high volume of orders, if not on our shelves when you order, delivery of Randall knives ordered from A.G. Russell is currently taking 5-6 months. If ordered directly from Randall the wait is currently five years.

Top cutting edge is sharpened. Genuine India Stag handle and brass hilt. 6" blade of 1/4" O-1 high-carbon tool steel (non-stainless). Leather sheath with sharpening stone. Weighs approximately 10 oz.

Randall Model 1 with Stag Handle

The Model 1 is offered with an India Stag handle, brass hilt and 7" blade of O-1 tool steel. The overall length is 12". This is a great knife and has been copied by most handmade knifemakers at some point in their career, and sometimes by knife manufacturers as well. The Randall Model 1 is the original and well worth any difference in price or delivery time. Weighs approximately 9.2 oz. Leather sheath.
