A.G. Russell Knives

For over 50 years, these have been the best known handmade knives in the world. Gary Randall, the present owner, took over from his father, W. D. "Bo" Randall, in the mid 1970's and the shop remains so busy that it often takes over 4 years to get a knife directly from them. We are one of the few authorized Randall dealers, and try to keep a stock of their knives. If we don't have the knife that you want in stock, we can usually have it for you within 5 to 6 months, because our orders with Randall are booked years in advance. For anyone wanting to order directly from Randall the price will be lower but the wait will be extremely long.

Top cutting edge is sharpened. Genuine India Stag handle and brass hilt. 6" blade of 1/4" O-1 high-carbon tool steel (non-stainless). Leather sheath with sharpening stone. Weighs approximately 10 oz.

Randall Model 1 with Stag Handle

The Model 1 is offered with an India Stag handle, brass hilt and 7" blade of O-1 tool steel. The overall length is 12". This is a great knife and has been copied by most handmade knifemakers at some point in their career, and sometimes by knife manufacturers as well. The Randall Model 1 is the original and well worth any difference in price or delivery time. Weighs approximately 9.2 oz. Leather sheath.
