In the 1950s, Bo Randall designed the Model 14 Attack primarily for combat and survival purposes. It has been one of their most popular models and is most popular with the standard fingergrooved handle with a brass double guard. O-1 high carbon tool steel is the original blade steel which makes it easier to sharpen. The stainless blade (440B), is becoming increasingly popular due to better corrosion resistance and edge holding. For those of you not familiar with Randall's markings, the stainless blade is clearly marked on the obverse side (front) with a large S to clearly distinguish it from the O-1 version.
The model features a 7-1/2" bowie style fighting blade with black Micarta® handle and brass double guard. Measures 12" from tip of blade to butt and weighs 14 oz. Includes a model A leather sheath with pocket and stone.
(10-21-09) Due to Randall's high volume of orders, if not on our shelves when you order, delivery of Randall knives ordered from A. G. Russell is currently taking 5-6 months. If ordered directly from Randall the wait is currently five years.
