If you have been an A. G. Russell customer for any length of time, you will have seen knives from Randy Lee in both the pages of the A.G. Russell™ Knives catalog and The Cutting Edge®, where he was the profiled knifemaker in July of 2010. Randy made his first knife in a high school shop class. He remained fascinated and in 1979, after studying with local knifemakers, he decided to get serious and buy the proper equipment. It was 1988, however, before he attended his first knife show. Randy is now a full time maker and attends about six shows a year. A serious hunter, Randy field-tests all of his designs. He wants them to work as great as they look. Not only does Randy produce a fine knife, but he also provides a quality handmade sheath with those knives. His sheaths, which are definitely a step above what is typical on knives of this price level, are handmade by his wife Sonja.
