Spencer Frazer has taken on the challenge to create a different breed of extreme fixed blade knife...suitable for today's modern military, capable night and day, wet or dry, and able to be carried in a variety of ways. You might wonder what could possibly be new in a fixed blade. With an instinctual handle shape featuring bold diamond checkering and scored with grip lines, sculpted guard and pommel, and a handle construction that combines traditional washer construction with molded Kraton® rubber handles, this becomes apparent when you handle the Gov-Tac.

The proven blade style is robust with flat ground bevels and precision ground fullers and is weighted and balanced for perfect control.

The 6-1/4" bowie style blade is AUS-8 at 57-58 Rc. and is available either with a bead blasted finish or with a black TiNi coating. Measures 11-3/8" tip to butt and weighs approximately 9.6 oz. Made in Taiwan.
