SOG has taken their Twitch XL and added a Tanto style blade for a more tactical look. The SOG® Flash series has been one of the most popular "Assisted Opening" knives on the market. When SOG offered us the chance to purchase a very limited special edition of the Flash II in a non-assisted version we jumped on it.

SOG has designed and applied for a patent on their own SAT (SOG Assisted Technology). This mechanism picks up the opening of the blade as soon as the operator has produced the first approximately 20% of the opening by hand. In a "Flash" the knife is completely opened and locked. When the knife is to be closed there is a button on the side controlling the "Piston Lock"; just slide it back and fold the blade back into the handle. For double safety, engage the lock at the back of the handle.
