The Team Leader is a different look from SOG. The 5" satin finish blade is flat ground all the way to the top, like a hard working blade should be. There are two versions, one of AUS-8 with the most aggressive saw teeth I have ever seen, and the other from a new American steel produced by Latrobe. Full tang with Zytel® handle scales. Measures 10-1/4" tip to butt and weighs approximately 7.0 oz. Both knives include a leather sheath.

What you might not sense when you first pick up this knife is the exotic steel. This is one of the first production knives to be manufactured from Duratech 20CV, a powder metallurgy stainless tool steel with a hardness of about 60 Rc. It contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which increase wear-resistance. Latrobe's test results show that it is 35% tougher than S30V, a super steel in its own right!
