The SOG Trident folders have features that are common to several of SOG's most popular knives. Upon closer inspection, you will find that they have features not normally seen in a folder. The Trident uses S.A.T.™ technology to open the knife, just open the knife about 1/3 of the way and the knife does the rest. There is also a built-in safety to lock the blade in the closed position, when it shows red the knife is ready to be deployed.

The blade measures 3-5/8" and is made from AUS-8 at 57-58 Rc, available in satin finish with a plain blade or black TiNi coated combo blade. Black textured handle for secure grip supports a removable/reversible pocket clip. The patent pending groove in the handle allows the operator to cut Para cord, fishing line, or rope to be cut without opening the knife. Overall length 8-1/2". Weighs 3.5 oz.
