SOG® has a reputation of making some of the finest production fixed blade knives in the world. That reputation began with their first knife in the early 1980s, a replica of the original Studies and Observation Group knife secretly developed and used in the Vietnam War by the 5th Special Forces and other elite soldiers.

Spencer Frazer, SOG owner and the man behind the designs, is currently working to develop knives that hold that same standard of quality but are affordable to more people. In the Fixation, he has created great balance and proportion for agility, a seamless fit between the blade and cross guard, stainless pommel and wrap-around checkered Kraton® handles for grip. The blades of 8Cr13MoV stainless at 52-54 Rc. are black oxide coated for stealth. All at a very reasonable price. Available in two blade shapes. Made in China.

SOG® Fixation Bayonet Style Blade

6-3/4" bayonet style blade. Both edges are sharpened with serrations running along about two thirds of the back of the blade. Measures 12" tip to butt and weighs 7.8 oz. Suggested retail $52.00.
