SOG utilizes their Assisted Technology in several models. This concept in pocket knives will change your idea about lockback knives. Invented by Spencer Frazer, the Twitch features a pass-through lockbar from which the "kick" of the blade sticks through. By pressing on the "kick", one is able to initiate the opening of the blade. S. A. T.™ then takes over to assist the full opening and solid lock-up of the knife. The knife has a safety to lock the blade closed and a detent which must be overcome before the knife will open, thus keeping it from accidentally opening in your pocket. The drop point blades are AUS-8 at 57-59 Rc. The handles are 6061 T6 hard anodized in a graphite color. Neat knives that work well. These are flat, neat, pocket sized knives that will be real hard workers. Made in the USA.
