The byrdRench was designed by an aerospace engineer in league with Spyderco R&D. It is set apart from other multi-tools by its one-hand-open full sized locking blade and wrench.

The two stainless halves of the body are connected by a pivot, which creates a slip joint plier on one end and an adjustable 9/16” wrench on the opposite end. Separate the two halves and stored inside is a set for four screwdriver bits: #2 and #3 Phillips-head and #1 and #2 flat-head. A rough file/hole-starter slides into a spring sitting above the bits keeping them in place.

The pivot also rotates open locking both halves into a full-length tool that’s comfortably chamfered with enough length to torque on. Releasing the pivot separates the two halves allowing the use of the wrench and screwdriver/knife independently.

The blade measures 2-7/8” closed length is 4-5/8”. Comes with a pocket clip and a black nylon pouch. Weighs 8.0 oz. Made in China. Suggested Retail is $129.95
