Spyderco® has been making Kopas with exceptionally unique handle variations since 2005. To date, inlays have included Cocobolo, Black Micarta, Evrina, Apple Coral, Tiger Coral, Gold Lip Pearl, Turquoise, Abalone with Pearl, Brown Jigged Bone, Stacked Wood, Black Quince, and Blue Pacific Bone.

Each version has a stainless handle that is designed and engineered for comfort, and then individually fitted with exotic handle materials. The handle scales of this latest version are made up of Abalone with Mother-of-Pearl and Black Lip Pearl stripes. The 2-3/8" leaf shaped blade, flat-ground to a thin, shaving sharp edge, is VG-10 at 58-60 Rc. The back-lock, a traditional and possibly the most secure locking device used on folding knives, is positioned at mid-point on the spine of the handle. The steel pocket clip allows right-handed, tip-down carry. Measures 3-7/16" closed and weighs 2.6 oz. Made in Japan. Suggested retail is $239.95. The quantity available to us will be very small.
