The Para-Military is a two-thirds sized version of Spyderco's long revered Military. For an updated twist, Spyderco has introduced a version with Digital Camouflage G-10 handle scales. The digital camouflage pattern is a mosaic of small-connected micro-patterns, optically reducing the eye's ability to detect and discern an object. It was developed to help with concealment for the U.S. military.
This version of the Para-Military features a flat-ground 3-1/2" CPM-S45VN stainless blade at 59-61 Rc., available with either a satin finish or with black DLC coating, available only with a plain edge. The round hole is generously sized at 14mm to make it easier to open the blade with gloved hands. The shape of the handle, particularly the back-end, has been modified slightly to provide more grip for pulling cuts. The lock is a nested Compression Lock. The digital pattern will vary on each knife and no two knives, or two sides of the knife, will be the same. The included pocket clip can be removed or moved for either left/right carry and tip up/tip down carry. Measures 4-3/4" closed and weighs 3.8 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
