Wayne Hendrix is a maker of very fine hunting knives. In addition to being a knifemaker, he is also a hunting guide, and his knife designs reflect the understanding of what makes a good solid working knife, gained from that experience. The Model 32 Hunter is built to function well and to hold up to hard use. It is also a very good-looking knife if you wish to show it off. The 3-3/4" mirror polished blade is deeply hollow ground from ATS-34 stainless steel at 59-61 Rc. and expertly sharpened to a fine edge. The blade measures 1" wide and 3/16" thick with a sharply tapered tang to cut down on weight and give the knife a more desirable appearance. The stainless hilt is soldered with an expert touch and beautifully figured Desert Ironwood or Wayne's special Curly Maple add beautiful handle scales. Measures 8-1/4" tip to butt and weighs 5.7 oz. Comes complete with a handmade brown leather pouch-style sheath.

These knives are entirely handmade by Wayne. We accumulate knives on our shelves before we put them in a mailing, but if the knife is not in stock when you order, delivery time could take 2 to 3 months.
