Wayne Hendrix's experience as a hunting guide drives his knife designs. He specializes in very fine, hard working hunting knives with different handle materials. We have previously offered his Model 30 and Model 32 in a variety of handle materials. Both of those models have soldered nickel silver guards. Wayne has encouraged us to offer our customers his two most popular models Model 11 and Model 25. Both models are hiltless and we have chosen dyed Box Elder Burl for the handle scales for both. The blade steel is 1/8" ATS-34 stainless at 59-61 Rc. –Wayne's standard steel - with a very fine hairline finish, a full tapered tang and an expertly sharpened cutting edge. These knives are entirely handmade by Wayne and each includes a handmade brown leather pouch style sheath that is handmade by his wife Ruby. We accumulate knives on our shelves before we put them in a mailing, but if the knife is not in stock when you order, delivery time could take 2 to 3 months.

Wayne Hendrix Utility Skinner

The model 25 Utility Skinner has a 2-15/16" plain edge blade that measures 3/4" in width with a tapered tang. Measures 6-7/8" overall and weighs 2.7 oz. in the sheath.

Wayne Hendrix Utility Semi-Skinner

The model 11 Semi-Skinner has a 3-1/4" plain edge blade that measures 7/8" wide with a tapered tang. Measures 7-3/8" overall and weighs 5.1 oz in the sheath.
