A.G. Russell Knives

The William Henry Morocco Silver is a special 25 piece production with Wooly Mammoth Bark handle scales, a material that is used by William Henry exclusively for A.G. Russell™ Knives. The beautiful Moroccan style carved silver bolsters are created by soldering a layer of sterling silver over a nickel silver frame then hand carving the sterling into a deep relief pattern.

The Vancouver is a phenomenal William Henry knife and is limited to only 10 pieces. The Twist Mokume interframe is set with beautiful and exotic Fossil Walrus Ivory inlays.

As the name implies, the frame material for this knife is remnant conductive wire from the super-collider project abandoned by the US Government in the 90's. Made from a matrix of niobium wires pulled thru a copper core, superconductor was (going to be) used to move electricity in the particle accelerator.

Pikatti is an Eskimo word meaning companion, an appropriate name for a small knife that was designed as a faithful tool to help with everyday tasks. Seiichi Nakamura spent his life as an engineer and in retirement designs and produces small Japanese style folders and gentleman's folders. As far as I can determine, this is the first instance in which one of his designs has been manufactured by an American company. Just last year we offered a Nakamura folder from Kershaw, but that knife was produced by a small factory in Japan.

This version of the GenTac is a 100 piece limited edition produced exclusively for A. G. Russell™ customers and members of the Knife Collectors Club™. The 3-1/8" blade is Devin Thomas' Dot Matrix stainless Damascus at 59-61 Rc.

First fossilized Mammoth Ivory and then Mammoth Tooth became very desirable for knife handles. Over the past few years, we have seen a few handmade knifemakers use Mammoth Bone. This material varies widely in its appearance because bone starts out very absorbent and easily picks up color from the minerals in the soil where it has laid for thousands of years. Unlike ivory, which will usually have color on the surface (bark), Mammoth Bone will have absorbed the color through the entire thickness.

The B5 Chardonnay is the first ever offering of a William Henry button lock built as an interframe. It was designed and built exclusively for A. G. Russell customers.

The Short Revolution is a rugged, fixed blade hybrid knife with a unique, lightweight handle of anodized aluminum in multiple colors that revolves to become the sheath.

The Transport is a keychain knife with a curved ergonomic shape. It features button lock blade release, a bottle opener, and a lanyard opening for keychain attachment. The button lock system helps even novice users feel safe because it incorporates blade locking into both opening and closing functions.

The Benchmade Levitator® locking system utilizes the handle scale/liner to create a spring that leverages a lock-pin in and out of a notch in the tang of the blade. This system locks the blade securely in both the open and closed positions

Those of you who are familiar with Allen Elishewitz's web site of exquisite custom knives will know that the new production CRKT Pharaoh is very different from Allen's custom Pharaoh. Sorry for any confusion, but this is a unique design that incorporates many of Allen's themes well deserving of the title "king." You will look very hard to find a production knife in this price class that is anything like the Pharaoh, so it does stand a bit larger than life.

Allen Elishewitz is an acclaimed young Canyon Lake, Texas, knifemaker who offers a surprising range of custom knives, many with Egyptian-themed names. CRKT asked Allen to design a production version of his Anubis™ (the jackal-headed god of the underworld, according to ancient Egyptian mythology).
