This oil has been specially formulated for use as a honing oil. It is neither too thick nor too thin, either of which would lead to glazing on your stone.
Cover the surface of the stone with a thin film of this oil and when you have finished sharpening, rub the surface with a finger tip to raise the particles into the oil, then wipe the stone clean. If your stone ever appears to be clogging, scrub it with comet and a stiff brush, using hot water.
