Jerry Fisk is one of the most highly recognized bladesmiths making knives today. His knives have received so many awards that it would take much of this page to list them all. As a boy, Jerry watched in awe as a neighboring blacksmith created knife blades at his forge. A sixth grade field trip to the old James Black shop in Washington, Arkansas seems to have assured Jerry's path in life.

This Fisk designed 4" skinner is the fifth, and the last for 2006, in Browning's Mastersmith Collection that includes designs from Bailey Bradshaw, John Fitch, Joseph Keeslar, James Crowell and Jerry Fisk. Each knifemaker has earned Mastersmith rank with the American Bladesmith Society.

The 4" skinner blade is high carbon steel at 56-58 Rc. with a satin finish. The handle is a solid piece of stabilized walnut with a stainless guard and pins. Measures 8-1/4" tip to butt and weighs 3.5 oz. Each knife is serial numbered. (Sorry, no choice of serial number.) Includes a custom made top-grain brown leather sheath. Knife and sheath made in the U. S. A. Suggested retail is $299.00.
