The Successor™ by Benchmade is a modern style slip-joint folder that has a vintage appeal. The blade steel in these EDC's is M390 stainless, a super-performance blade steel with exceptional cutting ability and wear resistance. Both models have Ash Gray aluminum bolsters and either Burnt Bronze or Crater Blue aluminum handle scales. The liners are stainless steel. The solid detent open-close slip joint mechanism gives you a smooth operation with a distinct and solid half stop.
The 2-3⁄4" drop point blade is M390 stainless at 60-62 Rc. The Bronze model has a black Cerakote coated blade, liners and backspring. The variation with blue handle scales has a satin finished blade, liners and backspring. Both variations include a black leather sheath that includes a removable pocket clip, which can be attached to the sheath or knife, tools included. Measures 3-5⁄8" closed. Weighs 2.2 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
