The 7" Pocket Hunter is a model that Keith has made for many years. He is making small quantities of some of his standard models with various handle materials for A.G. Russell Knives, usually not more that 10 each time. Like so many of the knifemakers we have worked with over the years, Keith has really retired, but wants to keep doing a little bit with knifemaking.
The Pocket Hunter has a 3" full tang drop point blade of D2 at 60-61 Rc. with a satin finish The thing that is different about this very limited version is the Amber Dyed Stag handle scales. We have photographed two knives to show the variations in the color. Measures 7" overall. Weighs 4.6 oz. Knife and sheath are both handmade by Keith in Northwest Arkansas.

Keith Murr Knives
Keith Murr is an knifemaker residing in Northwest Arkansas. He has been making knives since 1987. There are lots of knifemakers making handmade knives in their own shop, some just set up in their garage or a small outbuilding, and some with fine well equipped shops. Those who are making knives at the quality level demanded by our customers is much smaller. Finding makers who are producing the quality and can supply enough pieces for us to include in an A. G. Russell™ catalog is rare.
