Keith Murr Slim Drop Point Hunter with Whitetail Crown
Item #: KEM-WT2025CR
$335.00
These Slim Drop Points are very different from any Keith Murr knife we have sold before. Those we have sold have been made with D2 blade steel, full tang and with handle scales of many different materials.
In early 2025, Keith brought a total of 27 small hunters to us. There were three different variations with enough of one variation to put in our catalog. I put the other two variation aside and lost track of them for awhile. In searching for something else the other day, I located them again. I had already planned an email special with just handmade knives that we have in stock so I have included these two.
The handle is a small Whitetail Crown on a short exposed tang. The 3-3/8" blade is O-1 high carbon steel at 58-59 Rc. with a parkarized surface for rust resistance. Measures about 8" overall. (Each is a little different because of the length of the antler.) Weighs about 2.7 oz. Knife and leather sheath both handmade by Keith in Arkansas.

Keith Murr Knives
Keith Murr is an knifemaker residing in Northwest Arkansas. He has been making knives since 1987. There are lots of knifemakers making handmade knives in their own shop, some just set up in their garage or a small outbuilding, and some with fine well equipped shops. Those who are making knives at the quality level demanded by our customers is much smaller. Finding makers who are producing the quality and can supply enough pieces for us to include in an A. G. Russell™ catalog is rare.
